Licensed sod refers to sod that is grown through a managed program. We currently grow two types of licensed sod on our farm -- ICON Zoysia and Bimini Bermudagrass.

While we highly suggest an irrigation system to make maintenance easier for you, it is possible to care for a lawn if you have a strict manual watering schedule.

Yes, however, we do suggest that your landscaper be knowledgeable on the type of sod you have. We also suggest you ask your landscaper to disinfect and clean their mowers and trimmers, so that there is no cross-contamination between another client's lawn and your lawn, especially if the landscaper cares for many other lawns.
